This trip... read more was perfect for that! Easy riding in both Buda and Pest. My time included a ride through the campus of the technical university in Buda and through a park used by locals. Then, across a less commonly-traversed bridge into the arts area of Pest, I visited unique arts spaces including a view from the top of the Ziggurat and an underground "bunker" used for rotating art exhibitions. Sebastian was a fun guide who gave me a taste of what Budapest is like for locals. Consider going off the beaten path!

We met Davide in a park in Districy 8 and spent the first hour learning about the heavy industrialised area of former years and its transformation into what it is today.
We got on a public bus and were taken to a different part of the district and into the Jewish area. Very sad and confronting.
Overall, we would recommend this tour. The only constructive comment is that it’s advertised as a crime tour. I think a few real life examples would have added to the experience.
